 AR test will be due Friday, March 1. 

Make sure the book is a 4 point book or higher.  

 

ELA:

Monday:  Bellwork:  L61/62, review with lesson 61, do 1-5 on 62

              Finish Water Conservation  reading comprehension worksheet/Art

              Hand out vocabulary lists:  Quizlet has study cards also.  Academic Vocabulary Test Take 2 – will be on Thursday – (25 terms)  

                Genre lesson – Use foldables and powerpoint to discuss the 5 main genre types and then their subgenres.  Take notes on the foldables

              Read library books – AR points

                                                     

Tuesday:  Bellwork: Comparative/Superlative forms pages 2/3

               Task cards:  reference materials – #1-8            

               Genre crossword puzzle – partner work – cooperative communication

               Thesaurus skills worksheet

                                       

Wednesday:  Bellwork:  Lesson 63/64 adverbs telling where and how much

                Analogies powerpoint:  Notes page will be on Google classroom.

                Analogy worksheet: “Readtheory” #1

                    

                                 

Thursday:  Bellwork: Reference materials task cards #9 – 16

                Academic Vocabulary:   Take 2 Test!  (24 terms)

               Reference material Scoot:  activity to get kids moving but yet reading and answering questions on reference materials.

                 Read AR books 

                                                   

Friday:  Bellwork –  Analogy worksheet “Readtheory” #2

             Unstoppable you!     Journaling activity –

             Take AR tests if they have not done this.  They will be taken during the hour due to library closure (book fair) and several not taking them when I give them extra time :(
